- Shipping & Delivery
- For a limited time Get Free Standard Ground Shipping for orders of $99.00 or more (48 states)! Just select free ground shipping at checkout! This is a limited time offer and will expire without notice.
Our Flat Rate Shipping is only $8.95 per order for Standard Ground Shipping (Fedex or USPS, our preference) in the lower 48 states! This flat rate shipping policy does not apply to open account orders. USPS, Hawaii, Alaska and APO/FPO shipments are not included in the above shipping and will be quoted at checkout. This applies to all items except babbitt, chain, bandsaw blades and Jet Equipment! On these items the shipping charges will be quoted upon request. Other shipping methods are available and quoted at checkout. Truck shipments do not include a lift-gate service. If you require lift-gate service you will be charged the fees imposed by the truck line. You may be required to help unload merchandise. Most orders shipped same day if entered by 12:00 CST. Please allow extra shipping time during holidays!! Please note we cannot guarantee transit times!

Shipping: Most items qualify for special shipping charges as listed above. On all other items and expedited orders the normal charges apply. We ship only within the contiguous United States with the exception of Hawaii and Alaska. These rates will be quoted upon request. We no longer ship internationally.
Please inspect your packages carefully upon receipt. Claims for damages must be filed with the carrier immediately and all original packaging must be saved. We will be glad to assist in any way possible in the event of a damaged package.

- 2nd Day Air means 2 BUSINESS DAYS. If you place an order on Friday of a normal week and select 2nd Day Air you will receive your product on TUESDAY. (This is the 2nd Business Day)

Security We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.
Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon, usually in one of the corners of your web browser. Any time you are on your account pages or during all times and stages of checkout, you are protected.
The Makita Store uses 128-bit encryption to protect your information. With 128-bit encryption, there are 300 billion trillion times as many keys as with 40-bit encryption. It is virtually impossible for an unauthorized party to find the right key, even if they are equipped with the best computers.
This encryption is performed with SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). SSL is a set of rules followed by computers connected to the Internet. - Returns & Replacements
- Tyler Tool Company will credit you for any stock item returned UNUSED in original carton for any reason within 30 days of original purchase. Any item needing to be returned please contact us for details. Please pack item and ship back with a copy of your invoice(save your original) and a note, and we will credit your account(within 30 days) in the same manner you purchased (ie.credit card or check) less the shipping and handling charges(8.95 minimum). A copy of your Credit will be mailed to you upon your request. Customer is responsible for all freight charges unless it was our error. Special order items, Reconditioned Tools(unless unused) or close-outs are not returnable. Some items may be subject to a restocking charge. Any item that is cancelled enroute or refused will be credited the amount of the purchase less the shipping and handling charges (8.95 minimum).
Any products that are returned without contacting Tyler Tool for a return authorization approval OR products that are returned outside of the 30 day return policy are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Due to safety concerns, GASOLINE powered equipment that has been used CANNOT be returned for credit or warranty. Any warranty on gasoline powered equipment must be handled by an authorized service center in your area. Special ordered items cannot be returned for credit.

- Makita Tool Warranty
- Every Makita tool is thoroughly inspected and tested before leaving the factory. If you are not satisfied with any Makita tool within 30 days of purchase, return it and Makita will provide a replacement or refund. Each Makita tool is warranted to be free of defects from workmanship and materials for the period of ONE YEAR from the date of original purchase. Should any trouble develop during this one-year period, return the COMPLETE tool, freight prepaid, to one of Makita's Factory or Authorized Service Centers. (See www.makita.com for exceptions)
- Makita Tool Factory Rebates
- From time to time we list vendor rebates on our site that are offered by the manufacturer. If you need assistance or to check status on your rebate please contact the manufacturer. These rebates are offered by the manufacturer and any questions or problems must be handled by them. We are not responsible for any rebates that are offered by them.
- What Are Reconditioned Tools?
- Reconditioned tools are items that have been returned to the manufacturer and been tested and repaired if necessary to perform to new tool standards. These tools mainly consists of tools returned under the manufacturers 30 day no questions asked return policy. Some tools may have cosmetic blemishes or evidences of use. These tools carry the same warranty as new tools, normally one year, but do not have a 30 day return unless unused. Due to the large volume of these items we cannot guarantee the condition of the item nor can we pick out the best tool for you. Unused tools may be returned at the customers expense within 30 days for a refund.
These tools are sold as is. If you need warrany repair information we will be glad to assist you in locating the nearest warranty center. Any return shipping is at the customers expense (no exceptions). These items are sold on a first come first serve basis. In the event of an out of stock situation we will notify you asap. If you do not see a price on an item it usually indicates an out of stock situation.
Reconditioned power tools are items that have been returned to the manufacturer and been tested and repaired if necessary to perform to new tool standards. These power tools mainly consists of tools returned under the manufacturers 30 day no questions asked return policy. Some tools may have cosmetic blemishes or evidences of use. These power tools usually carry the same warranty as new tools, normally one year(Delta has 6 months), but do not have a 30 day return unless unused. Due to the large volume of these items we cannot guarantee the condition of the item nor can we pick out the best power tool for you. Unused reconditioned power tools may be returned at the customers expense within 30 days for a refund.
These reconditioned power tools are sold as is. If you need warrany repair information we will be glad to assist you in locating the nearest warranty center. Any return shipping is at the customers expense (no exceptions). These items are sold on a first come first serve basis.
Quantities are limited on all reconditioned tools. If you order an item showing zero on hand at check out, there will be an extended delay in shipping your order. We will strive to ship your order as soon as possible.
Reconditioned Section Backorders - Sorry because of the reconditioning process we normally can not offer an expected ship date on backordered reconditioned tools. All backorders for reconditioned tools that are over 90 days old will be canceled automatically.
- Damaged Packages
- Please inspect your packages carefully upon receipt. Claims for damages must be filed with the carrier immediately and all original packaging must be saved. We will be glad to assist in any way possible in the event of a damaged package. Carriers will not honor claims if damages are not reported within 10 days after receipt!
- Foreign Orders
- Tyler Tool Company is no longer able to ship internationally. We ship only within the contiguous United States with the exception of Hawaii and Alaska. These rates will be quoted upon request. All credit cards used must be issued in the USA (50 States). We can still ship to APO and FPO boxes but they normally carry additional freight charges. Any foreign business that wishes to place an order with us may do so as long as they have their carrier pick the merchandise up at our location or have the order delivered within the continental United States to a freight forwarder. Orders to Alaska and Hawaii are still accepted and the shipping charges will be quoted via e-mail for your approval prior to release of your order.
